Business Development Mgr– Trade & Partnerships

Global-SIBE Consult is a strategy planning and advisory firm, supporting entrepreneurs, SMEs, and investors with business strategy, feasibility studies, and market entry planning.

 

As a result of our expanding international network and increasing inbound interest from foreign manufacturers and off-takers, we are now building a trade facilitation division of the firm- Sales Enclave. The vision is to build Africa’s most trusted trade facilitation ecosystem, connecting foreign manufacturers, off-takers, with local distributors, suppliers, and financiers, through structured, transparent, and high-performance supply chains.

 

We are therefore looking for a Business Development Manager to work closely with the Founder to help build and operationalize this new arm of the firm.

 

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who wants to build, not just manage. The immediate focus is on Import Enclave- the arm which focuses on connecting foreign suppliers to local entrepreneurs interested in distributing or white-labelling their products.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electrical installation, maintenance, and repair. You be able to operate and maintain electrical equipment including lighting systems, motors, wiring, and generators. You must be able to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams, and understand the use of tools and measuring instruments.

Our client provides internet service installation, security services (cctv, alarm fence, etc) installation and smart home installation services. The company seeks to hire technicians who will work on job sites to install these systems.This is a commercial, execution-focused role for someone who is comfortable managing conversations, following up on opportunities, and moving deals from discussion to action.You will work closely with the Founder on foreign supplier engagements and will take ownership of:
  • Distributor onboarding
  • Opportunity coordination
  • Trade partnership follow-through
This role combines business development with early-stage operational coordination.
  • Follow up on opportunities initiated with foreign manufacturers and suppliers
  • Engage and onboard local distributors, traders, and white-label partners
  • Coordinate discussions around pricing, trade terms, MOQs, and logistics
  • Track and manage multiple opportunities concurrently
  • Support preparation of trade documentation and partnership agreements
  • Serve as a coordination point between suppliers, distributors, and internal stakeholders
  • Provide weekly updates on deal pipeline and progress
  • A commercially minded professional with interest in trade, distribution, and market entry
  • Someone comfortable speaking with business owners, suppliers, and decision-makers
  • A self-starter who does not need constant supervision
  • A professional who understands that early-stage ventures reward initiative and results
  • Background in business development, sales, trade, consulting, or partnerships
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Understanding of trade, distribution, or supply chains
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment
  • Monthly base salary: GHS 1,000
  • Revenue share: 20% of all net sales commissions earned monthly from executed deals
  • Initial review period: 3 months (with scope for role expansion and improved terms)
